The Host ID is the MAC Address of the built in Ethernet device (en0). You can also find the host id during the installation process as the installer displays it.

Thanks all for the valuable advice. Can the Windows 2012 for Windows KMS key activate Windows 7, Windows 2008R2 servers as well? Currently we have two KMS Hosts (one with priority 0 and other with priority 5). One with priority 0 is the default one prior to standing up the second one withpriority 5.
I am ready to decommission the first one with priority 0 as this is build on an old server. All our Windows 7 and 2008 are currently registered to this one and will removing this cause any issue. Will it get the activation response from the newone automatically. The SRV record is seen in DNS and resolves correctly.ThanksTIA TP. When those KMSclients can no longer connect to the old cached KMShost machine, those KMSclients will perform auto-discovery via DNS,find the new KMShost machine name, and attempt connection and reactivation to the new KMShost.Don doesn't work for MSFT, and they're probably glad about that;.

You can't install a 32bit pro e in windows7 64bit.you have to install 64bit pro e.
I found the following solution: Seek in windows old the program installation and import to program files current. And with this you can enjoy your Pro/E in 8Gb ram!
Hey if the setup.exe does not show up it simply means that there's a data loss while downloading from internet or CD creation. In such circumstances it is advisable to use another fresh copy of setup files. Or installation may not be stable. I would not completely agree with Rajesh, the installation of 32 bit version is possible but reconfiguration of Pro/ENGINEER, also certain other applications of Pro/ENGINEER like Distributed Pro/BATCH and Pro/TOOLKIT may not be possible to achieve as the batch files would not run. As some of you guys may aware that the compilers of the batch files, dlls and Exes are different for 32bit and 64bit applications (Not just Pro/E but any applications for that matter). Yes coping the Pro/E setup file may work, but can't rely on its stability.
For education version you have to refer the mail sent you by PTC itself...
For me the complete package can never be downloaded... often came to a halt in the middle of downloading... Finally downloaded the pro-e wildfire 5.0 64-bit from torrent... Its working great....( p.s.models created with edu version are not compatible with pro version)...If needed i will post the torrent link...
I want to install Pro E wildfire 5.0 in Windows 7 64 bits. But couldnt do so. Can anyone please help. Can we give the patches for it.
That's strange!; shouldn't be a big deal win7 64bit OS. if the package is complete;regardless commercial/and or not.Installation should be a breeze. First, your PC have to be fit to install the software....there are tons of tutorials out there my friend; just Google and you will find someone already been there done that!,showing you how to overcome your situation.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit with Creo 1.0 which has 2 discs, one for 32 and one for 64, iirc ProE 5 is the same.
If you have a maintenance agreement you should be able get a set of discs from your support provider.

i installed pro e wildfire 5.o m020 and patched according to the instructions but the application is still not opening......please reply....
I'm using windows 7 home premium 64 bit
You could edit the proe1.bat script in a text editor, add 'pause' before and after the last line, and see if any errors show up when you start ProE.
I agree with the others who said installation is simple if the download is complete. Installation can complete with an incomplete download, but the application will not run. You can install the 32 bit version on a 64 bit OS, if you really really want to (only reason to is the reverse engineering extension, as far as I know), you just have to download the right thing, or for newer versions, specify which version you want during installation.
its not that difficult as u think first download from torrent bcoz its work great and then start setup file and then 1st replace licence file open in .txt and replace and save and go on nxt - nxt - replace licence file and go on installing and completing patch it and get started... ![]() Comments are closed.
